Highly-motivated and compassionate Women's Health Nurse Practitioner seeks opportunity to join a comprehensive care team to provide patient-centered and evidence-based care to patients across the lifespan. Passion for women's health, education, advocating, and encouraging patients to play an active role in their healthcare. 

I graduated with my BSN in 2015 and worked in level III NICU settings for a total of four years. I have also been a labor & delivery nurse at a very high volume hospital. I got my master's degree in 2021 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and I have worked as a WHNP for over a year in a clinic-based setting.

I have worked as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner for over a year under the supervision of two OBGYN's. I see patients from adolescence to post-menopause and take the time to listen to individual's concerns. I perform annual exams including pap smears and STI screening, prescribe contraceptives, insert IUDs, as well as care for patients prior to, during, and after pregnancy. I spend time with my patients to educate them and encourage them to take active roles in their healthcare journey. I also assist the OBGYNs in seeing their patients while they deliver patients or perform surgery.
