Currently one of the youngest attorneys admitted to the US Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, Hampton is also one of the youngest to serve on the Medicaid, VA Benefits and Special Needs Trust Committees of the Florida Bar Elder Law Section. He is also an active member of the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce, serves as the President-Elect for Rotary Club of Fort Myers South, and is the Vice President on the board of directors of LARC, Inc,  a non-profit organization in Southwest Florida that assists those with special needs. Hampton was the 2021 President of the Lee County Bar Association. In addition to being named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for the past seven years in a row, he was recognized as a top 40 under 40 professional by Naples/Lee Herald Magazine in 2017.
