In My position as a Family Support Specialist, I had the opportunity to grow professionally from performing intake assessments, developing customized case plans and working with families. My ability to connect with family members of all ages and establish trusting relationships, along with my consistent mindfulness of my personal responses to clients prepared me to thrive in this challenging position.

In my position as a Family Support Specialist , my responsibilities included

• Maintaining a mixed-age caseload of prenatal, infant and toddlers and providing activities from curriculum such as Growing Great Kids
• Conducting weekly  visit with each family
• Conducting developmental screening to participant child 
• Providing participant with guidance on home safety, nutrition, and constructive play activities
• Coordinating with participants to ensure that prenatal, well-child exam, immunizations and health screening is complete.

I have a Bachelor Degree in Psychology. During my time in college I learn about Early child Brain Development and How Early experiences impacts the way a child cope and thrive during stressing situations. .My Degree also covered Mental Health and Brain-related conditions and disorders.
