My name is Grant Ward and I’m a marketing and event operations professional with a passion for sports media, brand storytelling, and audience engagement. I’ve worked with organizations like SEICon, Position Sports, and Sport LEAP, where I’ve led social media campaigns, coordinated large-scale events, and developed marketing strategies that boosted engagement and attendance. With a background in journalism and a master’s in sport management from UNLV, I blend creative content creation with data-driven strategy to bring brands to life and connect with communities in meaningful ways.

I’ve built my professional experience at the intersection of sports marketing, event operations, and digital media. I’ve worked with SEICon, Position Sports, and Sport LEAP, where I’ve managed everything from social media campaigns and sponsorship activations to large-scale event logistics. Whether coordinating events for 500+ attendees, creating content that drives engagement, or collaborating with brand partners, I thrive in fast-paced environments where strategy and storytelling come together. My background also includes editorial work and marketing outreach, giving me a well-rounded perspective on how to connect with audiences and elevate brand presence across platforms.

I'm currently attaining a Master's in Intercollegiate & Professional Sport Management degree at UNLV, and I graduate in May of 2025.The is program prepares graduates for leadership and management-level careers in college, amateur and professional sport organizations, teams, and events. This program is distinguished by its inclusion of topics in youth and intercollegiate athletics with specialization areas such as diversity in sport leadership, sport analytics, and governance. This program allows students to choose a sequence of courses emphasizing intercollegiate athletic or professional sport management.
