About Grant Kolton:

Grant Kolton is a writer, director, animator living in Los Angeles specializing in 2d frame by frame animation, motion graphics, and mixed-media live action. He can work in any aspect of animation from initial conceptualization and pitching all the way through each step of the actual production process.

Previous clients include Comedy Central, FX Network, Pepsi, IMDb, RCA Records, Bleacher Report, Method, Truth, and Kaiser Permanente. Grant’s short “City Dwellers” was co-produced by Frederator and Sony Picture’s Animation for Cartoon Hangover. Many of his independent short films have played internationally at festivals where they've won awards.
 

To date he has received six staff picks on vimeo.
 

His new original short Blackhole Apartment is out now on FX on Hulu and can be seen in Season 3 Episode 6 "Game On."

Experience

I have been working as an independent animator for 11 years with projects for Television/Streaming, National Broadcast, Online, Social, and Branded Content. 

Education

I received a Dual BFA in Animation and Illustration from The California College of the Arts in 2012.
