As a results-driven Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Manager with over 10 years of experience, I have successfully led cross-functional teams, streamlined WIP processes, and managed pre-production coordination to meet critical deadlines.

Over the past 14 years in global sourcing and procurement, I've primarily focused on cost optimization, vendor management, and strategic planning. I’ve led sourcing initiatives for multimillion-dollar product lines and managed partnerships with international vendors, overseeing everything from pre-production coordination to contract negotiations. Currently, I’m at Pottery Barn, where I manage sourcing for a $1.15 billion revenue portfolio in upholstery and fabric development, collaborating with over 36 vendors to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

In previous roles, I’ve successfully launched products at companies like Zumba Fitness, where I sourced media and accessories for Walmart, generating over $2.4 million in wholesale revenue. I've also developed and executed sourcing strategies across various industries, including home furnishings, apparel, and beauty. I’m always focused on driving innovation, maintaining cost efficiencies, and ensuring strong cross-functional partnerships to meet company goals. I’m highly data-driven, with a deep understanding of financial modeling, freight costs, and risk mitigation.

My education in Political Science and Social Research and Public Policy has really shaped how I approach my work. It taught me to think critically and analytically, which I use daily when evaluating vendor performance, negotiating contracts, and assessing market trends. The research methods I learned in my Master’s program have been a huge help in making data-driven decisions, especially when it comes to identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving sourcing strategies.

On top of that, my studies in policy development and governance gave me a deeper understanding of how global systems work, which helps me navigate the complexities of international supply chains and ensure compliance with regulations. 

I’ve found that the problem-solving skills I developed in my academic journey are key in handling the challenges that come up in sourcing, and they help me keep everything aligned with both company objectives and industry standards.
