A tinkerer at heart, who has worked on various creative projects which include programming educational computer games, engineering a musical synthesizer, and building an urban mushroom farm. Experience
Photonic computing researcher under the supervision of professor Kai Wang. Developed a photonic neural network in the synthetic frequency dimension and a measurement-based in-situ backpropagation method to train it with minimal reliance on external computers. Presented research at international conferences CLEO and Photonics North.
Education
Graduated from McGill University with a first class honors degree in physics and computer science.
