About Fardos Katun:

I’m a dedicated Solution Architect with a strong foundation in both healthcare operations and IT, specializing in system integrations, Epic EMR systems, and workflow optimization. With over 7 years of experience across healthcare and government environments, I’ve consistently been recognized for my ability to bridge technical solutions with business needs—delivering seamless integrations that enhance system performance, ensure compliance, and improve end-user experience.

I’ve been complimented for my strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and my ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex technical projects. Stakeholders often note my talent for breaking down complex challenges, aligning diverse teams, and driving projects forward with clarity and confidence.

What sets me apart is my ability to see the big picture while also diving into the technical details. Whether it's designing scalable workflows, improving interoperability, or supporting go-live initiatives, I take pride in creating solutions that truly make a difference in patient care and operational efficiency.

Experience

I’m a results-driven healthcare IT professional with over 7 years of experience in system integrations, Epic EMR systems, and workflow optimization. My background combines deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of healthcare operations, allowing me to design and implement solutions that improve interoperability, efficiency, and compliance across healthcare IT environments.

At the Internal Revenue Service, I led key IT initiatives including security program implementation, risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning, helping reduce vulnerabilities and ensure seamless system integrations. My time at Emory University Hospital and Piedmont Hospital gave me hands-on experience with Epic applications, where I optimized workflows, enhanced patient access, and supported revenue cycle operations while ensuring full compliance with HIPAA regulations.

I’m passionate about solving complex problems and aligning technical solutions with organizational goals. With a B.S. in Healthcare Management and an A.A.S. in Computer Information Systems (Programming), I bring a unique blend of healthcare insight and technical skill to every project—especially when it comes to architecting scalable and effective integration strategies.

Education

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from Clayton State University, which gave me a strong foundation in healthcare operations, compliance, and organizational strategy. I also earned an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems (Programming) from Georgia Piedmont Technical College, where I built technical skills in programming, systems analysis, and application development. This combination of healthcare and IT education has uniquely positioned me to bridge the gap between clinical needs and technical solutions.
