Ethan Rogers

I am a senior at Dawson High School. I was in band for school for 5 years, but I quit last year because it was getting in the way of my jobs. One thing about me is that I am very passionate about skating. It is a fun hobby to do with your friends and learning new tricks and techniques is always fun.

My work experience has been very good so far. I worked at Wendy's back in June 2022 to the end of September 2022. My main jobs and responsibilities were working cashier at the front and window, taking orders at the front and window, stocking items in the back, helping customers if they need help, baging items, and occasionally making fries. I left on my own because it started getting very gross, with roaches in their restaurant, water leaks, and many more unsanitary things. I also worked at Journey's in the Pearland Town Center. I worked there from October 2022 to January 2023. I would mainly be in the stock room putting shipment away(shoes, shirts, etc.), while at the same time shifting shoes to make sure everything is in the right place and right order. When I would have a sales goal, I would go on the sales floor and help customers out with what they need and bring shoes out. I was let go from that job due to overstaffing everyday. My managers would schedule everyone for one day, causing them to have to pay us more money for our time we worked. This led them to let go 3-4 employees because they had all of us working together.

I am a senior in high school right now. I will be graduating in May of 2024.
