About Eric LeDuff:

As Recruitment Coordinator, I provide administrative and process support for recruitment activities including sourcing candidates and coordinating outreach efforts. I conduct pre-employment processing , monitor the completion of the pre-employment process and provide updates to recruiters and Human Resources (HR) business partners. I respond to questions about the recruitment and hiring processes while developing and maintaining customer-focused relationships with internal and external customers. I also coordinate and attend various recruitment outreach events to promote USPS employment opportunities, source and identify qualified candidates as needed for current and upcoming job postings utilizing various recruitment tools such as job boards, data bases and recruiting websites. 

Experience

As a Training Technician, between FY21 to FY22, I have administered Orientation to approximate total of 1,164 employees for the Baton Rouge, LA area.  I have scheduled Academy training for over 1400 ARC and RCA employees for the New Orleans and Baton Rouge areas, window training for approximately 148 employees for the Baton Rouge and Lafayette areas and 244 employees for CCA Academy for the Baton Rouge area. My role is to instruct craft employees in work methods, procedures, skill requirements, duties, and responsibilities of positions and work assignments. Principles of learning are applied to all instructor assignments. I provide trainees in Orientation the full opportunity to understand, participate in class discussions and demonstrations as well as the discussion of training ensuring that all necessary skills and knowledge have been acquired before reporting to work. I coordinate the development of training plans for classroom and on-the-job instruction. I apply effective technique(s) of instruction to accomplish specific learning objectives using a variety of training devices and visual aids. Employees are informed of standards and criteria used to evaluate satisfactory performance. Training records are maintained in accordance with approved procedures. I also occasionally performs other job related tasks in support of primary duties.

     As an Officer-In-Charge , I managed the operation of a small- to medium-size city post office. I was responsible for limited distribution activity and providing any combination of city, rural, and highway contract route mail delivery and collection, and sales of Postal Service retail products and services. I managed a carrier and clerk (PMR) directly in mail distribution, delivery and collection, and window service activities. I have also managed the implementation and administration of approved programs as they apply to the local and subordinate reporting offices; operating within established rules, laws, and procedures. I have shown the ability to prepare, submit, and administer a moderate-size operating Budget for the local office and trained new employees to ensure quality service.I have managed the implementation and administration of proper safeguards for the welfare of the customers and employees ensuring quality service and the security of the mails and has supervised office clerical operations to provide records, files, and reports as required for the local and subordinate reporting offices. Window transactions and distribution tasks were completed timely and have exercised normal protective care of a moderate-size stock of accountable paper, a small building, building and office equipment, supplies, and vehicles for the local and subordinate reporting offices. I have also exercised a normal regard for the safety of self and others, with particular emphasis on ensuring employee compliance with established safety policy and procedures; administered the safety program for the local and subordinate reporting offices.

    I have spent most of my career in the Processing and Distribution Center and held various mail and processing skills including Automation, Flat Sorter, and Automated Parcel Bundle Sorter. He also held roles in Express Mail, Registry and Expeditor. He was a Lead Clerk on the APBS and FSM in Processing and Distribution including a 204b Delivery Supervisor in Customer Service and Acting in Processing and Distribution.
