Eli Ford
Engineering / Architecture
About Eli Ford:
I’m an Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Kansas with a passion for aircraft systems, propulsion, and aerodynamic design. I thrive in team environments where collaboration, precision, and innovation drive results. Through hands-on experience with the Jayhawk Aerospace Design Club and Jayhawk Motorsports, I’ve learned to approach challenges with analytical focus and strong attention to detail—qualities that have helped me contribute to real engineering projects.
I’m eager to bring that same mindset to professional settings like beBee Aerospace, where creativity and reliability intersect to shape the future of flight. My goal is to continue learning from industry professionals, contribute meaningfully to team projects, and grow into a well-rounded engineer dedicated to designing efficient, safe, and high-performing aerospace systems.
Experience
I have hands-on engineering experience that combines teamwork, problem-solving, and precision. At Excelligence Learning Corporation, I met high-volume production goals under tight deadlines while motivating my team to maintain efficiency. As a Contract Worker at Jefferson on the Lake, I managed multiple renovation projects simultaneously, leading small crews and ensuring timely, high-quality results. At Charlie’s Car Wash, I coordinated daily operations, streamlined closing procedures, and built strong teamwork through clear communication. These roles strengthened my leadership, organization, and time management skills—qualities I now apply to every engineering challenge.
Education
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Kansas (Honors Program) with a 3.85 GPA, expected graduation May 2028. My coursework and projects emphasize aerodynamics, systems design, and computational modeling. I’ve applied these concepts through my involvement with the Jayhawk Aerospace Design Club—where I contributed to airfoil analysis and aircraft development using XFLR5—and the Jayhawk Motorsports Club, where I assisted in designing and fabricating carbon-fiber wheels. Additionally, I led a Computer Science Capstone Project that developed full-stack district websites using Java, PHP, HTML, and CSS, further sharpening my technical and collaborative abilities.
