EDWIN NYAMWALA

Edwin Nyamwala is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Albany State University with a wealth of experience in higher education. With a Doctor of Business Administration (D.B.A.) degree specializing in Marketing and International Business from Northcentral University, Edwin brings a deep understanding of marketing principles and practices to his teaching. 

Throughout his career, Edwin has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in education. Before his current role, he spent seven years as a dedicated Faculty member of Shorter University in Rome, Georgia. There, he fostered a student-centered, experiential learning approach in his marketing courses, preparing students for success in the ever-evolving marketing field. Edwin's expertise extends beyond the classroom. he has actively engaged with local, regional, national, and international business, nonprofit, government, and community representatives to create applied service-learning projects and study opportunities for his students. 

Edwin's commitment to professional growth is evident through his pursuit of a Professional Certificate in Google Data Analytics from Coursera. This reflects his dedication to staying current with industry trends and technological advancements. Also, a member of the American Marketers Association (AMA), Kenya Scholars & Studies Association (KESSA), a member of the Sigma Beta Delta, an international business honors society.
