About Edward Huffine:

Seasoned Maintenance and Operations Leader with more than 25 years of experience across industrial manufacturing, oilfield services, and federally regulated maintenance environments. I bring deep expertise in master-level diagnostics, preventative and predictive maintenance, FMEA, safety compliance, and workforce development, with a proven ability to improve reliability, readiness, and operational efficiency.

Throughout my career I have led and developed high-performing technical teams, built structured training and mentorship programs, and managed complex maintenance operations involving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems. Having extensive experience working in production-driven environments increases my ability to balance uptime, quality, and safety while aligning maintenance strategies with organizational KPIs.

I have served in senior supervisory and training leadership roles in both civilian industry and the U.S. Army, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, federally regulated programs, and large cross-functional teams. I am highly experienced in OSHA, GHS, EPA, and FDA compliance, lithium battery safety programs, CMMS systems (including SAP), Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.

I am known for my calm leadership style, strong communication skills, and hands-on technical knowledge, and excel at bridging the gap between management, technicians, and customers. I am driven by a commitment to safety, operational excellence, and developing skilled, accountable maintenance teams that deliver measurable results.

Experience

I bring over 25 years of experience leading maintenance, training, and logistics operations in industrial manufacturing, oilfield services, and multiple US Military maintenance functions. Throughout my career, I have specialized in master-level diagnostics, preventative and predictive maintenance, team building and training, and failure analysis (FMEA), with a consistent focus on improving equipment reliability, safety performance, and workforce capability.

I have built and led maintenance training and mentorship programs that measurably increased technician proficiency, readiness, and utilization. By applying KPI-driven maintenance strategies, structured assessments, and hands-on instruction, I have improved operational efficiency, reduced downtime, and strengthened long-term reliability across multiple organizations.

In senior supervisory roles, I have managed multi-million-dollar budgets, administered federal contracts, and led cross-functional teams in high-tempo, production-driven environments. I have successfully implemented CMMS and SAP systems, improved data integrity, and used process improvement methodologies—including Lean Six Sigma and 5S—to optimize maintenance workflows and inventory management.

Safety and compliance have been central to my leadership approach. I have served as an OSHA, GHS, EPA, and FDA compliance lead and auditor, earning multiple safety and environmental awards through disciplined program execution. As a Lithium Battery Safety Officer, I managed battery lifecycle programs including quality control, failure analysis, recycling, and regulatory documentation.

Technically, I maintain strong hands-on capability across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems, including electronics repair, precision measurement, and three-phase motor testing and troubleshooting. I am known for my ability to translate complex technical issues into clear action plans and to communicate effectively between technicians, management, customers, and regulatory agencies.

I lead with accountability, structure, and mentorship, and I take pride in building disciplined, safety-focused teams that deliver reliable results in demanding operational environments.
