October 2018 - August 2019 worked at Russell & Smith Ford as a Part Time QuickLane Technician since I was doing school at San Jacinto College for Automotive . Left Russell & Smith Ford to try and pursue the career in the Marine Corps Reserve from Mid August 2019 - November 2023 , duty was ONE WEEKEND each month and TWO WEEKS out of the summer , I was doing civilian life and reserves in one weekend of each month . I was ranked E-4 Corporal in my unit Alpha Company 1st Batallion 23rd Marines , assumed the billet of a Team Leader to coordinate my team to execute planned objectives and follow orders as told . February 2020 - April 2020 worked at Downtown Aquarium as a Retail Associate but was laid off due to COVID , company took my voluntary resignation since I was not interested anymore . August 2020 - November 2021 got RE HIRED to Russell & Smith Ford as QuickLane Technician and promoted to Heavyline for some Diesel and more Gasoline vehicle work . Company formally let me go due to attitude issues as I confronted them about giving my work away to someone who they said “was new” but had 4 years of Apprentice experience and I kept getting Warranty / Loyalty , “Engine Noises” , and Denied work . November 2021 - May 2022 completed my first Active Duty deployment in Virginia and travelled to Kosovo for Peace Keeping duties from the whole Afghanistan situation (have proof to back up data) , came back from deployment did not do anything for 1 and a half month . July 28 2022 to PRESENT I am currently working at O’Reilly Auto Parts as an Assistant Manager , started off as a Parts Specialist working at the store in Bellaire and Rice Ave for two months (No Store Manager but in charge was Assistant Manager Orlando Garcia who is at the store on Bissonnet and Hillcroft) , store got demolished and transferred to store on Bissonnet and Hillcroft for three months , left that store due to TOXIC environment and lack of management (Store Manager Cesar Gramajo) ended up getting my transfer to W Bellfort and Dairy Ashford (Ex Store Manager Juliana Lopez) was there  for three months as a Retail Sales Specialist and being second in charge of the team , executed duties such as cleanliness , training management team , organizing , efficiently help customers such as installing batteries , wiper blades , headlight bulbs and SOME other miscellaneous work that “we are not supposed to do” but helped out customers save money by not going to shops due to costs . I was offered a promotion to First Call Commercial to the store on Bissonnet and Wilcrest (Store Manager Sergio Diaz Jr) was there for almost 6 months , I had Sterling McCall Toyota as one of our customers , as a Commercial person executed duties such as handling professional with knowledge , coordinate and communicate with drivers with their deliveries , handling phone calls which sometimes was easy and sometimes hard due to the store being busy , handling large amounts of cash , communicating with Team Sales Manager who visit customers for feedback and any concerns with our service . I was offered an Assistant Manager position at my first store Bellaire and Rice Ave with current Store Manager Juliana Lopez , customers have asked for me and complained about service due to the staff that was there AT THE TIME , decided to come back and we decided to freshen up the team and got rid / hired new staff , and transferred BACK old team members who were at the store before store was demolished , sales for the store have gone up , as an Assistant Manager I train new team members to executed great service to our customers, answer the phones properly, help Commercial department with any questions / concerns , assume all duties of a Store Manager when they are in absence such as taking care of deposits / cash handlings in the morning , making sure paperwork such as Refund Audits , Quantity , Ordered Items and etc ; making sure the store is up and ready the next day such as cleanliness and front facing products , i also Supervise Retail and Commercial departments to make sure all refunds , Warranties and Core returns are being handled correctly . Willing to leave to starting turning wrenches again , O’Reilly is nice but too boring sometimes . I’m willing to start off in Express Lube to show what I have and take any challenges that are being thrown at me . I do miss turning wrenches , I still have my toolbox and tools ready .
