Eduardo Hasbun

Software Engineer with experience designing and maintaining applications tailored for the public health sector. My role encompassed the full spectrum of full-stack development, including rigorous bug-fixing and occasional live client support. My earlier roles in assurance services and as a senior analyst in commercial real estate have further developed my problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and client facing skills. These experiences have provided me with a unique perspective on applying data and analytical techniques to solve real-world business problems.

My last position was as a Software Engineer at jProg, where I was involved in full-stack development for applications serving the public health industry. Most of my role consisted of making bug-fixes and feature additions based on client requests or reports made to the help desk. Much of this work was accomplished in JavaScript, Visual Basic, and SQL queries and scripts on the data tier. Additionally, I worked (sometimes single-handedly) on larger projects (on occasion directly with the client) for more customized additions to the client’s hosted system.

This role provided me with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable database management systems and applications along with experience in designing import/export, reporting, and visualization modules for large scale data. I was also heavily involved in testing for new builds, including test design and recording results using an in-house application for regression testing. In addition to my professional expertise, I am well-versed in leveraging machine learning models and libraries TensorFlow, Keras, and SciKit Learn, from my academic work and my own personal projects (some of which are available in my personal repository listed above).
