Edania Maldonado

I recently obtained my A.A. in psychology and am currently pursuing an additional A.A. in Education, as well as a PTA A.A.S. Afterwords, I will work towards completing my B.A. in Education and Psychology, but I ultimately hope to attend physical therapy medical school, as an aspiring pediatric and sports rehabilitation physical therapist. I am also an independent contractor for hire, for tutoring/homework help services, babysitting, pet-sitting, and house-sitting gigs. 

I have experience working as a summer day camp engagement counselor, a teacher's and childcare assistant, a tutor/homework helper, a pet-sitter, a baby-sitter, a peer-mentor, a health and beauty consultant, a specimen processor at a medical lab, a molecular biology medical lab assistant, a data entry specialist, a personal clerical assistant, an interpreter, and a translator. I was formerly a very dedicated volunteer at two different no-kill animal shelters too. 

I have a college prep + Italian Honors High School Diploma and a Associate of Arts Liberal Arts - Psychology degree thus far. I am currently working towards an additional Liberal Arts A.A. in Professional Studies, Education and an A.A.S. to hopefully become a Physical Therapist Assistant, so that I may work as a PTA while completing my B.A. in Education and Psychology and ultimately my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, as an aspiring Pediatric and Sports Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. I predominantly studied Biology/Life Science, Italian, Spanish, and Latin-American Studies, at La Salle University, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from August 2010 through December 2015. I have also completed coursework at Caldwell University, formerly known as Caldwell College, in Caldwell, New Jersey; Bergen County Community College, in Paramus and Lyndhurst, New Jersey; Mercer County Community College, in West Windsor, New Jersey; and Union County Community College, in Cranford, New Jersey. I am an American Red Cross trained and certified Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor. I have also obtained American Heart Association Emergency First Aid and CPR/AED Intervention Certification and likewise acquired a Mental Health First Aide Certification, on two separate occasions. I am a National Deaf Center Certified note-taker too and attended the Summer 2009 National Student Leadership Conference on Education and Educational Administration, at the Rose Hill Fordham University campus.
