  • Formulate and implement a market strategy to meet division goals and to increase steel deck sales with existing customer base. 
  • Organized customer events and engagements to strengthen relationships.
  • Collaborate with divisional sales offices to increase steel deck sales with top deck-heavy customers. 
  • Explore new markets and new sales channels to increase overall volume of sales in the divisional territory.

Vulcraft CCG – Wheeling, WV

 

  • Charged with sales of composite steel floor deck on complex structures for the mid-Atlantic and Northeastern United States.
  • Developed market strategy for repeat sales and helped grow the team from eight to thirty team members, resulting in an annual increase revenue stream of $15M to $30M over the course of twelve years.
  • Negotiated and sold the most complex structures in the composite steel floor deck market. Examples include Highmark Stadium, multiple high-rise projects in both Boston and NYC, JFK Airport Terminal expansion, Columbus Airport, etc.
  • Collaborated with internal teams to develop and sell construction solutions and value engineered options which expanded enterprise-wide sales across multiple product groups.
  • Emphasized enterprise value and incorporated that value into the selling of an overly commoditized product, thus increasing revenue and creating a “preferred supplier” relationship with core customers. 
  • Developed and maintained a higher sales hit rate in comparison to other sales divisions due to focus and building positive customer experiences.
