Dyllan Martino

I am a software developer with a passion for technology and a drive to learn new things. I've been fond of computers for as long as I can remember, so ever since I took my first programming class more than 10 years ago I was hooked. Since then I've trained in C++ making graphics engines and standalone interactive programs, as well as working in Java on databases in AWS. Now, I'm on the hunt for a new position, and eager to challenge myself by learning new things and contributing to a greater operation. Currently living in Mississippi, but open to relocate and both in-person and remote positions.

I've spent the past two years contracted with a company called Cognixia. As part of their jobseeking program, I was contracted out to Fannie Mae and Ally Financial, each for just a few months, gaining experience in working with senior developers and operating as part of the iterative project flow. We worked on AWS microservices, developing them in Java and communicating with the client's servers. 

I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation from DigiPen Institute of Technology. During my time there I was instructed in various programming practices, including optimization, graphics, engine development, cryptography, networking, all based in C++. I also got to work in large projects with peers from a variety of disciplines, often acting as a mediator between different departments on my team.
