Dylan Miyamura

I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with two years of hands-on experience working at Overland Van Projects as a Mechanical Design Intern I mainly focused on sheet metal product development - along with other various product development. Growing up in Hawai'i and always being by the ocean I have a strong passion in getting into the marine engineering industry with a strong interest in AUVs/ROVs/UUVs and hull design.

Working a two-year internship as a mechanical design intern as Overland Van Project, I worked on the full product development cycle of mainly sheet metal components. Most notably the Alpaca Cargo Plate, Double Bench-to-Bed, and interior infrastructure to support wall paneling. Additionally, collaborated with multiple disciples to ensure design would be compatible with all components in the van build.
