• Interpreted IEC and ANZ standards for electrical equipment design on the project.
• Supervised a team of electrical designers, reviewing HV and LV switchgear, MCC single-line and schematic diagrams, area classification drawings, substation layouts, cable tray routing, and cable sizing calculations.
• Conceptualized, proposed, and designed a unique Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system valued at ~ $20M, resulting in $4.7M in cost savings for the owner.
• Successfully collaborated with clients, manufacturers, and Bechtel leadership, convincing all stakeholders of the reliability and uniqueness of the UPS system design.
