Durga Bhagavan Bolli

During my role as a Cloud Security Engineer from June 2022 to June 2023, I gained significant experience in various aspects of cybersecurity. My responsibilities included conducting Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and performing Cloud Security Research and auditing on AWS and GCP. I also specialized in Web Application Penetration Testing, API Penetration Testing for protocols like SOAP, REST, Protocol Buffers, and Network Security assessments with a focus on Black Box and Grey Box Penetration Testing. Additionally, I conducted Mobile Application Penetration Testing on Android platforms and actively participated in Red Teaming exercises, contributing to enhancing overall security measures. This diverse experience allowed me to develop a comprehensive cloud security and penetration testing skill set.

I pursued my academic journey with a strong focus on cybersecurity, earning a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland, a program that extended from August 2023 to August 2025. Prior to that, I completed my Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science at BML Munjal University, where I actively engaged in extracurricular activities as the Academic Affairs Secretary for the Student Council during the academic year 2020-2021. These educational experiences provided me with a well-rounded foundation in computer science and a specialized expertise in cybersecurity, equipping me with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the field.
