seeking for a Medical Billing/ Coding position

I am currently working as a CNA at Lantern Park Specialty Care. During my time as a CNA, I developed a deep understanding of medical terminology through my daily interactions with healthcare professionals and patient charts. I became skilled in accurately recording medical histories, vital signs, and other patient data. This experience has equipped with the necessary knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices, which will be highly relevant in the medical coding field.

My most recent job as Patient Service Representative at Community Health Centers has prepared me to be a good fit for this position. First, my role required strong critical thinking skills to accurately process and analyze patient information. I had to review medical records, insurance claims and other relevant documents to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the coding process. I frequently interacted with patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance companies to obtain necessary information and clarify any discrepancies.
