Dr. Christopher Hershey, a seasoned veteran in public service, leadership, and diplomacy, brings a wealth of expertise to his new role as Chief of Staff for the National Nuclear Security Agency for Research, Development, Testing, and Evaluation. Throughout his impressive career, he has demonstrated a commitment to advancing global counterterrorism, human rights, and national security objectives.

Experience

Dr. Christopher Hershey has extensive experience in policy formulation, intelligence, and strategic planning. He has worked with a range of organizations and stakeholders, including the U.S. Department of State, local government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and political leaders. He served as a Branch Chief for Special Projects and WMD Financial Defensive Measures Officer working with the Central Intelligence Agency, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. In addition, he served as a Federal Board Member and Designee for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and was a Senior Foreign Policy Advisor at the White House. He also held a diplomatic post as a member of the United States Delegation to the United Nations in Vienna.
