I posses an Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Northcentral University, where my dissertation focused on the effects of mentoring and succession planning on African American presidents at majority White institutions. I also earned a Ph.D. in Leadership from Tennessee Temple University, with a dissertation on the persistence of African American men in higher education through leadership development and mentoring. Additionally, I hold dual M.A. degrees in Religious Education and Religion from Liberty University, and a B.A. in Radio/TV from Stephen F. Austin State University.
