About Doug Raraigh:

Doug has been in ministry since 2001, serving as a local pastor in Pittsburgh, PA, in various capacities. He has a passion for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with kids, teens, young adults, and their families. He has a desire to care for others and help them apply Biblical principles of following Jesus to their lives. He wishes to help others heal from life's hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Doug aims to reach out to families to help them begin, grow, experience together, and share an authentic, life- saving and life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ and worship Him with their lives.

Burry's Church | 2022-2024
Family Pastor
-Cast vision and implemented a strategic plan that created a Kids Ministry, Youth Ministry, Young Adult Ministry, and Smal Group Discipleship Ministry for Adults.
-Recruited, trained, equipped, supported, and cared for a Family Ministry Team that ministered to the families of Burry's Church and reached out to new families ni the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
-Hired, trained, and managed new staff members at Burry's Church.
-Executed the duties of associate pastor ni leading worship, preaching, pastoral care, hospital visitation, counseling, officiating weddings and funerals, and helping the church through the transition of the stepping down of, search for, and hiring of those ni the position of senior pastor.
-Implemented new technology for office administration, the church website, presentation media, and the renovation of the church's Kids Ministry Area, Youth Center, and Adult Teaching Area.
Christ Church at Grove Farm | 2013-2022
High School Pastor
-Developed a high school ministry team of adults to reach out to teens, create a safe place for them to belong in small groups, and invite them to begin and grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
-Launched five "Outreach Clubs" in public schools. These were student-led clubs with the purpose of reaching students for Christ and plugging them into the local church.
-Created and executed a weekly large group program for students to belong, begin, and grow in a real relationship with Jesus, learn and apply Biblical principles to their lives, and learn to love and serve others while following Jesus as their example.
-Created a large small group program for students to meet weekly outside of our youth program.
-Hired, trained, and managed a staff of interns, paid youth ministry personnel, and volunteers.
-Part of the Preaching and Teaching Team for the church at large. -Helped the church through various senior pastor and church leadership transitions.
Discipleship Pathway
-Designed and Implemented a Discipleship Pathway that is used in the church to help others grow ni their faith and see tangible results. Al of the church's programs and ministries revolve around this pathway.
Care Pastor
-Recruited, developed, and managed multiple volunteer teams with over 10 volunteers combined, and paid staff in the care department, to help care for those in need.
-Found strength from the Holy Spirit when Ivisited and counseled those who are hurting, lost work, adjusting to life's difficulties, lost loved ones, or need care in hospitals, homes, and other meeting places.
-Created and managed an online system to track those we care for and those who care for them.
-Walked with families through the loss of loved ones, planned &officiated funerals and memorial services; Met with families and individuals who wish to be baptized or have their children dedicated; Met with couples for pre-marital counseling, planned &officiated weddings; Met with individuals, couples, & families for pastoral counseling and spiritual guidance.
-Directed a Ministry Team to connect with and help those affected by Covid-19 for the Spring and Summer of 2020.
-Recruited, developed, and managed multiple volunteer teams for support groups ni the areas of lost loved ones, pregnancy loss, homeschooling, divorce, and more. Launched, and taught weekly at, the church's largest support group program for those looking for healing, health, and hope for the hurts, habits, and hang-ups ni their life, Community of Hope.
4th and 5th Grade Student Program
I-directed our 4th and 5th grade program, 45Live, where Itaught each week, managed volunteers, created fun programs, planned and executed events and retreats, and helped to create community through small groups within the Program.

GRACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Youth &Family Pastor | 2010-2013
-Led a team ot launch a second campus of the church ni the local YMCA.
DUTILH UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Youth &Family Pastor | 2007-2010
-Led a team to develop a strategic plan and eventually launch a second campus of the church ni Mars, PA. Developed and trained a worship band made up of teens who led our youth ministry and our adult contemporary service in worship.
FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH | 2004-2007, 2013
-Led a team to develop innovations and strategic plans ot launch one of the three campuses of the church, Crossfire - a modern worship-style campus, which first met ni the Butler Public Middle School. Then, later remodeled a grocery store north of the city to house the eventual 1,000-person growth the campus brought in.
-Responsible for church communications including videos incorporated into worship, graphic design, weekly email newsletter, and creator and developer of the church website.
-Returned in March of 2013 to help the terminally il Sr. Pastor with the church: attend meetings for him, preach in his stead, involved in strategic plans and vision for the future of the church should he pass, and helped the church to grieve and transition when the senior pastor had passed.
HOT METAL BRIDGE FAITH COMMUNITY, 2001-2003
-Part of the Church Plant Team for the launch of a new church ni the South Side of Pittsburgh, PA
