Dorie Yant

I am a veteran teacher of San Angelo ISD. I resigned from te at the end of this school year to pursue other career opportunities. I am taking Graduate classes to expand my career into counseling. I hope to help my community by becoming a Christian Counselor of addiction recovery 

I taught 18 years in San Angelo ISD

6 years of pre-k that also involved inclusion.

5 years in kindergarten still participating and co teaching with special education in an inclusion settin.

1 year in 1st grade

3 years in 2nd grade

2 years in 3rd grade in an inclusion setting

1 year of 4th grade as a rotating inclusion teacher who switched classes along with the students.

I taught 17 years of my career at the same campus in my district. I taught my last year at a different campu. I developed strong teamwork and personal relation skills being at a campus as long as I was.
