Hello, my name is Dominique Whitehorne and I'm a highly passionate and dedicated individual seeking a position as a Sewing Specialist that utilizes 5+ years of experience. I encompass excellent abilities in modifying garments to enhance overall appearance of clothes and delivery on emerging trends.

My most recent experience start with working as an Alterations Specialist at Davids Bridal where I work one-on-one with clientele to establish trust and perform all necessary customer garment fittings to David's Bridal standards. I also operate single needle industrial sewing machines and serger machines to execute alterations on wedding gowns and dresses in a timely manner. It is my job to follow quality control guidelines and inspect all garments to verify pristine condition before final delivery to customer. I also have exceptional Guest Service experience gained from working as a Guest Service Representative, Night Auditor and Breakfast Attendant at the Home2 suites by Hilton. I fulfill the Manager On Duty role by overseeing the productivity in operations and providing the utmost guest satisfaction along with making decisions based solely on my discretion. I had a proficient performance in principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts preferably as a part-time position and working one to two days. I also assembled the breakfast buffet before mealtime and disassembled it thereafter.

I have a Bachelors of Art with a concentration is Costume Design. I gained an in-depth study and experience in costume design through training in costume construction, drafting patterns and computer-aided design.
