Pre-Workforce/Education history:

Prior to entering the work force I craved the ability to work towards a strong team and community service and skilled provider. There for I joined many clubs and orgs while attending my 4 years of High School (2012-2016). I did all the music clubs, theater, ROTC, and was a Fire Explorer sponsored by the Scouts of America, Town of Hudson, Alvirne High School, and the Hudson, Nashua, and Litchfield Fire Depts. I excelled with all the orgs. My strongest suit being the Fire Explorer Post where I would go on to rise the ranks through Cadet private to Cadet LT(Post officer, 3rd in chain of command). I was trained in first aid and CPR, trained and received hands on experience from trained fire fighter and fire fighter officers, even going as far into the program to ride along certified EMS/FIRE DEPTS personnel. I was eventually offered a scholarship program, where I eventually and respectfully declined due to the fact I had hopes and aspirations in other areas and wishes in my life. I still maintain strong connections from all the clubs, community services, and honor, recognition, and accolades from my past and am very thankful for the skills, integrity, and ethics i carry to this day.

Work History/ Human Capital Experience:

Hello there. My name is Devin Carroll, Of Nashua, NH. I am currently in the Job market for a part time or fulltime opportunity in the Cannabis, Music/Music Retail, or customer service industries. I have 4+ years in all 3. I am a hard worker at heart, always have had a resourceful work ethic and have been trusted by many successful companies to work as a member of their work force to provide exceptional, beyond standard, and reputable service. I have work in many roles for each industry and have spent a lot of time focusing on building strong patterns and skill sets to improve my capabilities as a valuable employee. I have a very clean and strong work history, spending great periods of time at each job, gaining recognition and accolade from each, and maintaining connection and respect even after departing from each company/job

In Cannabis I have done 4+ years with 4 different companies/ grow operations, all being state legal, sustainable, multi- million dollar grow operations all over the mid-state to east coast area of Massachusetts. I started my cannabis endeavors as a fulltime propagation assist with Sanctuary Medicinal, after working patiently and humbly for the company for 6 months, I got promoted to propagation technician. And was left in charge of an entire grow room for the Mother Plants, About 50-200 plants at a time, alone 75% of the time. From propagation Technician, I was then given the opportunity to fulfill other positions tentatively, alongside my position in propagation to fulfill goals and quotas for production. This was all during voluntary overtime for the role of Harvest tech, cultivation tech, and postproduction tech. After 2 full years with sanctuary, and spending time working seasonal higher paying jobs, I was offered a strong offer from another cannabis company closer to home, willing to pay me what I was asking for plus benefits. There I started at Jamaco LLC in Amesbury as a post-production assistant, where I spent a month at that position before upgrading to technician status. In that time I was left alone and with a team to work on postproduction task, such as processing, dry weighing, burping, bucking, quality assurance and control, inventory management, naming and marketing deliberation with ownership as a trusted and respected consumer, independent study/research advocate, and brand ambassador of the plant. I worked from the end of the Jamaco brand to the birth of Mello. I personally did not like the direction of the operation post Mello after the buyout. Nothing against or ill spirited towards the brand, company, and management. There for I took another break from the industry working high paying seasonal jobs again, In the meantime I have interviewed for 4 other companies, offer positions for 3 out of 4, and even tried a full month at Ascend. But unfortunately, haven't found the right opportunity that aligns with my basic needs and self-worth requirements. I have nothing but respect for everyone I have worked for and have worked with and maintain good respect and reputation with all of them. My aspirations moving forward in my purist in the job market for this industry is to find a position back in cannabis that is relatively close to me (within 30 miles). And or pay for mileage reimbursement for jobs (Greater than 25 miles). Looking for full benefits (health insurance, discount, fair wage (20-25/hr), company cash incentives, PTO/STO.

I am a very open and honest guy I willing to negotiate pay/ terms of employment. I would love to have a sustainable, dependable, and secure position to grow into so I may present more worth and asset to the company I work for. I am humble of the fact I am fairly knowledgeable not only in the horticulture, cultivation, science, and growth and development of a cannabis operation, but also of the fact I have a lot to still grow into and learn. and know with the right company and opportunity I will be able to thrive, grow, and optimize the potential to provide myself as an asset with capital worth keeping long term.

My professional musical endeavors started at the age of 12, gigging as an instrumentalist/vocalist for many bands in local and regional bars, clubs, and venues. I am classically trained on 4 instruments, have been given professional vocal instruction both in school and private setting, I can read music, have relative perfect pitch, and an intermediate understanding of music theory and instruction. Trusted to lead and conduct many bands, projects, and ensembles. At the age of 17 I was recruited to work as an operations/sales/customer service associate for the major music retailer Guitar Center and signed on once I turned 18. I hold 2 major recognition awards for the company, and am the only one at our location, flagship store Nashua, NH, to have been hired multiple times on respectable terms, and hold all 3 associate position types (operations, sales, customer service). I am also one of few to work there at store 510 and of all employees in the district to have and maintain gear knowledge, price fluctuation, and relative market demand for all departments in the store. I have been on and off on good and continual business endeavors with Guitar Center ever since and currently work for the company. I would be open to other opportunities in the music and or music retail industry, so long as the terms are fair, and I see value in the opportunity to learn and grow from it. I can see myself in leadership, organization, quality control and assurance, brand salesmanship/ ambassador, Shipping and receiving/ logistics, gear demonstration, instrument/ music theory instruction/lessons, and or freelance/band performance.

The last industry I have a strong footing in is related and separated from both industries I lay well aligned and verse in. Customer service has always been a very strong attribute and skill set I have held. I Started as a cashier for major food franchises. (Burger King/ Five Guys) at 16. Then moved on quickly to retail at the age of only 17 becoming one of the youngest new hires at Hot Topic, the multi-million-dollar retailer. There I would work for a year focusing on cultural, brand and sales knowledge, earning 2 employees of the district awards being #1 out of 50+ employees' chain wide in the Northeast district. I was also in the top #3 in sales for the whole store throughout the entire duration of my work with Hot Topic. There I left for the opportunity I was recruited for by mangers of the Nashua Guitar Center at the time. There I worked as explained in the last paragraph as a whole store versed associate on off ever since, currently still working for the company and very thankful for everything they have taught me and given me the opportunity to succeed in. As far as cannabis customer service I have worked serval events as a brand ambassador/ client model for both Jamaco and Mello. Being VIP ‘ed to a few private cannabis events, and a few public expos for cannabis on behalf of my company at the time and based on my independent reptation and networking within the industry. I am personal friends and professional reference with many individuals for several grows, companies, dispensaries, and companies. As far as what I’d like for terms for accepting a customer service job, would be to be paid within my desired job payrate, given a form of additional benefit, local to me (within 25 miles, unless reimbursed for milage), and a safe and positive work Enviromint. Open to entry levels for customer service in any industry so long as it meets similar work terms stated above.

Personality, social reputation, and hobbies/out of work interest:

Besides the obvious interest in music, cannabis, and social healthy social friendships and relationships with 100+ people. I truly am a very kind, unique, and free-spirited person. I Don't disclose personal beliefs beyond (politics and religion). I hold and Un-biased opinion on the induvial I associate with based on respect for each other, respect for others, and presentation of character. I love people of all classes, races, demographics, ages, and work backgrounds so long as they have a wholesome ethic of their purist of happiness, lifestyle choices, and career advancement efforts. I am loyal to all and only point out things of important notice or matter to be productive in both my personal and work life. I am known in all 3 industries for my trustworthiness, strong work ethics, and compassionate and responsible care. I hold no foe, no personal competitors, or enemies in life. I am general positive, but also a realist at the end of the day and work hard to maintain and balance my idea of a healthy balance of emotion, logic, thoughts, and wishes in life. In simplest terms to wrap up, I am truly ‘go with the flow’.
