Debra Blockson

Hi, 

I'm Debra Blockson,  residing in Indianola, MS. where I just recently retired as an assistant teacher of 15 years. I'm continuing my education online through Simmons University at this present time with a major in Psychology/Counseling. My expected graduation date is December-2023. 

I have a passion for writing, reading, and working with children.  I love seeing children learn while reaching their fullest potential in gaining their education. Having a strong foundation on which to build up is the primary asset to learning. Prayerfully one day my writing will pay off and I can write a book about my life growing up as a little girl on the plantation. 

Some skills I'm proud to be blessed with are listening, organizing, writing, telephone (Etiquette), computer skills, and working well with others.

Others see me as a hard-working individual, with good upstanding morals and values. Very family-orientated and respectful of others and their beliefs. The ability to work with people and always lend a helping hand.

Assistant Teacher- Sunflower County School District  Indianola, MS. for 15 years. (Retired Dec. 2022)
