Experienced real estate development, construction, and project management professional with over thirty years of experience who has successfully, managed and supervised all aspects of development and construction projects with a specialty in premier grocery anchored shopping center development who has delivered ground up and repositioned grocery anchored centers, big box tenant builds, small shop tenants, commercial tenants, hotels, restaurants, office and residential projects and expansions in 18 states. Projects ranging in size from 1K SF to 1.2M SF. Managed design professionals for complex projects from concept initiation through design, permitting, bidding and onsite implementation.

David Patalita is Director of Construction for Madison Marquette where he currently oversees retail construction for the District Wharf project on the southwest waterfront in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining Madison Marquette, Mr. Patalita was Managing Partner at First Coast Partners, a real estate development consulting firm.
Other prior roles include: Director of Retail Development and Construction for Faison & Associates in Bethesda, Director of Development for Giant of Maryland, LLC and GFS Realty, as well as Vice President of Construction and Renovation for Saul Centers, Inc. in Chevy Chase, MD.
Mr. Patalita holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Union College in Schenectady, New York.
