I have extensive professional experience in administrative support and customer service roles. I find myself most comfortable in behavioral health and higher education environments. I would like to obtain a clerical or administrative support position in these arenas that will capitalize on my skills and attributes while providing a flexible schedule that allows me one morning per week to schedule regular appointments for chronic health concerns.
Experience
I started my administrative career working in a higher education environment and eventually dabbled in the entertainment industry, prepaid credit cards, customer service, and medical software. After taking some time off to deal with chronic health conditions I found my way into peer support work in mental health where I gained additional “soft skills” and experiences.
Education
I have a Bachelor's degree in English from California State University, Northridge, which has provided me with exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive when learning new skills and concepts.
