Duties as an Electrical engineer: 
• Calculate electrical loads and specify equipment, wiring and protection systems 
• Layout devices on plans and determine conduit paths 
• Assess existing electrical conditions and prepare asbuilt plans 
• Provide single line diagrams, fault current and panel schedules 
• Prepare arc flash and coordination studies 
• Prepare telcom and fire alarm drawings 
• Communicate with utility planners, architect, contractor and engineering disciplines for 
coordination 
• Prepare electrical specifications and review submittals 
• Compile information in Revit and manage BIM settings 
• Verify compliance of systems with the National Electric Code 
• Past work includes multifamily, retail, government, industrial and commercial office 
spaces
