Darius Haynes

I'm a self-driven, charismatic, well-versed jack of all trades.
 
I graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2024 with a Bachelor's in Computer Science and a minor in mathematics. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Computer Science. My current research is Reinforcement Learning AI Algorithms.

My current job is an internship with the United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command. I research counterfeit chip detection and AI drone swarms.

I consider myself a jack-of-all-trades as my biggest hobby is learning new things. My biggest interests include mechanical and automotive engineering, cooking, philosophy, sociology, and general fitness. Above all else, I'm a car guy and that is my primary interest. I'm also proud of my overall fitness level. I am competent at every sport and capable of much more than my hidden figure would cause you to believe. I am a quick learner, capable of picking up new skills faster than the average person. I'm self-driven, I teach myself new skills on a whim, such as teaching myself to play the piano. If I have a job to do, I'll do it without needing someone to motivate me and to an exceptional standard. I love trying new things, whether that be learning new skills or trying foreign dishes. I am a lifetime learner. Even more than trying new things, I love meeting new people. I pride myself on my ability to get along with everyone. I tend to be assigned the role of leader when working in a group, but I am just fine taking orders as well. Human Beings cannot survive on their own, one person can only do so much. When we put our heads together, there is nothing we can't achieve. Teamwork makes the dream work. Though even on my own, I am quite capable.
