About Daria Minakova:
Environmental Science and Policy from Clark University
Experience
As a graduate in Environmental Science and Policy from Clark University, I have built a strong foundation in ecological principles, climate resilience, and geospatial analysis. I am passionate about leveraging data-driven approaches to address real-world environmental challenges, particularly those related to climate change and sustainable development.
During my studies, I worked as a Course Assistant for the Climate Change, Energy, and Development class, where I supported students by mentoring and grading lecture materials, exams, and projects. I also interned at EcoLeader, where I applied ArcGIS to establish protection zone boundaries around watercourses and reservoirs, assess flood-prone areas, and conduct detailed water body inventories.
In addition to my GIS expertise, I am proficient in Python and R for spatial analysis, data visualization, and environmental modeling. I am eager to continue expanding my technical skill set to drive innovative solutions in environmental conservation and policy.
