Position: Stagehand. Duties included setting up, running, and removal of 

projection, sound, and lighting equipment for performances, business conferences, 

lectures, webcasts and events, including but not limited to sound systems, 

microphones, projectors, video switchers, LCD displays. Also assisted in 

maintenance and inventory of equipment, general stagecraft including drape, 

hanging and focusing lights. Assisted clients with graphics, editing of slides, 

playback of video, and basic networking and other computer assistance.

Freelance Audio Visual Technician 1999 - Present

Position: Technician/Stagehand. Obtained work through IATSE Local #16, and through referrals and self-promoted work. Duties included setting up, running, and

removal of audiovisual equipment for business meetings and conferences, 

including but not limited to sound systems, microphones, theatrical lighting, 

projectors, screens, video recording and computer monitors. Led work crews and 

negotiated between customers, clients and union personnel.
