About Daniel Roemer:
Daniel Roemer is an accomplished filmmaker with over 20 years of experience in directing, screenwriting, and editing. He gained early recognition as a USA Film Top 10 Emerging Director by age 20 and became a two-time Project Greenlight Best Director finalist (selected by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon) out of 60,000 entrants. His work has achieved worldwide theatrical distribution in over 75 countries, with films available through major retailers like Target, Best Buy, and Amazon via Lionsgate distribution.
Roemer's recent projects include directing the 8-episode sci-fi thriller series "Chaser," distributed by Buffalo 8 and streaming on Prime Video and Tubi. His diverse portfolio spans feature films, documentaries, music videos, and nonprofit work, featuring collaborations with high-profile actors including John Travolta, Meryl Streep, and Ben Stiller. Education
Daniel has comprehensive formal education spanning all aspects of cinema production with an MA in Directing from MetFilm School London (2022-2023) and a BFA in Motion Pictures & Television from Academy of Art University (2020-2022). His undergraduate foundation includes film and theater studies at the University of Southern California (1999-2001) and specialized directing/cinematography training from New York Film Academy at UCLA (1999). He also completed the elite Act One Screenwriting School in Los Angeles (2007), providing him with advanced storytelling and script development expertise.
Daniel has acquired extensive hands-on education across the complete filmmaking pipeline through both undergraduate and graduate programs, covering storytelling fundamentals, screenwriting, physical production techniques, digital production workflows, and post-production specialization.
