I am a new grad Regiestered Nurse (ADN) that is looking for my first RN job. My want to be a nurse stems from my childohood interection with the many devoted nurses who cared for me. I felt the positve impact they ha don me during my times of illness, and I want to have that same impact on the multitude of patients I interact with in my career. My goal is to become a nurse in the operating room, gaining knowledge and experience that can help me flourish and excel in that specialty of nursing.

I have 4 plus years working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the long-term setting. I am looking to take the skills and experiences I learned working in long-term care to other speicalties of nursing and build upon my foundation. 

In May of 2024, I completed my Assoicates Degree of Nursing from Moraine Valley Cummunity College. I graduated with a 2.9 accumulative GPA (ADN program and prerequisites. My GPA in the nursing program was a 3.3. I completed clinical rotations that included basic nursing skills, Med-surg 1, Med-surg 2, OB/GYN, Mental health, and advanced Med-surg-critical care.
