About Daniel Altman:

My name is Daniel Altman, a history instructor currently in the fifth year of working in an educational setting.  From 2018-19 I worked as a facilitator in a college program hosting Palestinian, Israeli and Jordanian students working towards cross-border environmental dialogue. After returning to the states I became a substitute teacher in the Jefferson County Public School system in Louisville Kentucky and then began an alternative degree program at Spalding University working towards a masters in education and a teaching certification while being an instructor on record at Iroquois High School. At Iroquois I worked with at risk and English language learners as a humanities and social studies instructor at Iroquois. Upon completing my teaching accreditations I accepted a position at Highland Middle School as an eighth grade US history teacher.  I am open to teaching history, geography and humanities as needed. I will be relocating to the area over the summer and will be available to begin onboarding training prior to the fall semester.
