I'm relatively new to the Peer Support career field but what I lack in experience I make up for with a passion for helping people and a drive to better the lives of others while I better my own life. I worked as a Peer Recovery Coach Intern where I learned the ropes of Peer Coaching and brushed up important communication skills like motivational interviewing. I've gotten 48 hours of training towards becoming a Certified Peer and Family Specialist and am working on the work experience hours needed to become COPA certified.
