Crystal Peralta Carbucia

My name is Crystal Peralta Carbucia, born in Puerto Rico, Bayamon, to two wonderful parents, who encouraged me from a young age to follow my passions. With support from them and my five siblings, I set out to learn art, illustration, and graphic design. We later moved to Florida, where my Papi instilled a passion for art, and my Mami encouraged my love for reading and illustration, which eventually led me to go to Valencia College to study Graphic Design. Valencia from there taught me design, and it’s importance in our everyday lives, and I learned to use what I had been taught, to create what I had learned to love.

I've done freelance jobs for people I know since I was young, but later studied in Valencia College and graduated with a degree in Graphic Design, and interned as an illustrator/artist/animator for UPG (Universal Phoenix Group) for three months.
