Crisali Garcia-Parra

My name is Crisali Garcia-Parra, I’m the older daughter and sister, and I’m looking for a job that can keep me busy and help me become the better version of myself to be able to start learning and saving for my dream life. I want to be able to have the experiences of what it would be to run/own a business of my own, learn step by step of becoming a business owner to be able to make my parents proud and myself proud o my accomplishments. In high school I earned my Microsoft Office Specialist on PowerPoint and Word. I work at a family chain mexican restaurant and it was a good environment but I wanted something different and I haven’t worked ever since until hopefully now.

Before school ended on 2022, I got a job where my mom works as a hostess and worked there the whole summer and a little of the new school year but I wanted something else. During my time as a hostess I would help around when it was busy while keeping up with my duties. At the beginning on my shift I would prepare the tables with plates and silvers, if my baskets of silverware were low I would stoke those up, I would make sure I have napkins and straws just in case someone needed them, I would make sure the lobby, glass doors, and my station were clean. Also for a while I babysat a neighbor kid so that could also add to the responsibility I had.

I attended to Heights High School and for those four years, I was an average student and I anything I needed to complete before graduating which I did with some extra work. The requirement my school had was to pass the classes to earn the credit for that class and for my senior year for me was pass all my classes and earn my Microsoft Word badge/certification for my business class. Which I did and got my PowerPoint badge along with my Word badge.
