Courtney Stewart

Hi, my name is Courtney but I often go by Court. I have been working in security for 4 years now. I strongly value team work and helping others who are having a hard time. I am detail oriented, I follow the rules and procedures of any job or assignment and I am very observant of my job and of others. I enjoy making other people laugh and making sure everyone around me is in good spirits. If I’ve learned anything from working with others, my favorite thing to consider is the fact that everyone understands things at their own pace and everyone has different perspectives and ideas. I like to consider everyone’s suggestions on how to make our job easier and efficient at the same time. 

I’ve been working at Camden County College for the past 3 years as a Public Safety Officer. At the college, I make sure the public, along with students, staff and faculty, are safe and have the resources they need to navigate the college. I help direct visitors, students and staff around the campus, including assist them with daily needs such as car troubles, moving equipment in/out of offices and classrooms, responding to emergencies and creating a safe work environment amongst other duties required of me.

My current degree program is criminal justice. I am working on my associates and bachelor degree at once with the program I’m enrolled in at Rowan College of  Burlington County.
