As a Traffic Control Specialist, I managed and directed traffic flow at construction sites and work zones to ensure safety and efficiency. Using hand signals, flags, and traffic control devices, I guided vehicles through designated areas while coordinating with construction crews and motorists to minimize disruptions. My role required attentiveness, quick decision-making, and clear communication to maintain a safe and organized work environment. 

Sentinel Security, Central Point — Security Officer 

August 2024 -October 2024

I maintained a consistent and professional security presence across the facility, patrolling exterior areas, inspecting and securing doors and gates, and directing delivery drivers to appropriate locations. Additionally, I documented security rounds through detailed reports, including photographs and records of any building issues, ensuring accurate and timely incident tracking.

Iowa State Penitentiary, Fort Madison — Correctional Officer 

May 2020 - May 2024

As a Correctional Officer, I served as both a Pod Officer and Perimeter Patrol, ensuring the safety and security of the institution. My duties included monitoring incarcerated individuals, enforcing institutional rules, and providing guidance on compliance. I identified and reported violations to maintain order and accountability within the facility. Additionally, I patrolled the perimeter, processed incoming and outgoing vehicles, and safeguarded both staff and inmates. I conducted routine firearm inspections to ensure all weapons were safe and functioning before and after each shift. I also inspected the perimeter fence, upheld security protocols, and directed visitors to authorized areas in accordance with legal guidelines. Furthermore, I was responsible for transporting and guarding incarcerated individuals during medical facility visits, ensuring the safety of both the individuals and medical personnel while maintaining strict firearm security.

Training in unarmed security. and proper conduct under Oregon state laws. Report writing and as well as first aid and CPR training.

I have received specialized training in the use of tear gas and pepper spray, along with certification in handling various firearm calibers. Additionally, I am proficient in report writing and have completed first aid and CPR training, ensuring preparedness in emergency situations and effective documentation of critical incidents.
