A dedicated security professional and military veteran with a background in physical security and a bachelor's degree in cyber security and information assurance. Has hands-on experience with handling classified materials and securing classified environments and holds multiple industry-standard cyber security and networking certifications. 

During my military service, I held multiple billets and achieved the rank of Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Responsibilities in these billets changed, but most notable was my time as a Desk Sergeant. As a Desk Sergeant, I was responsible for protecting the base and personnel, as well as managing training and hiring of new security guards. This role was important because it required fast thinking in critical situations, especially when there was a call to service or a traffic accident where quick thinking was essential.

As of February 2025, I have completed my bachelor's degree in cybersecurity and information assurance from Western Governors University. At WGU, I also achieved multiple certifications through CompTia and ISC2. Some of these certifications include A+, Network+, Security+, Project+, CySa+, and PenTest+ through comptia, and through ISC2, I have received the SSCP and am currently studying for the CISSP.
