Colleen Skaggs

I lead the Continuous Improvement and Innovation Program at the United States Air Force Academy, driving organizational transformation with a focus on efficiency and performance. As a certified Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt, I consult, train and mentor Airmen and Guardians across the Academy to implement impactful, data-driven solutions. With a deep commitment to excellence, I guide teams through improvement initiatives and change management, ensuring sustainable results and operational success.

With over 7 years of expertise in continuous process improvement, I've led and facilitated more than 55 high-impact improvement events, coaching and training teams across all levels - from factory workers to executive leadership. My experience spans strategic alignments, rapid improvement initiatives and complex enterprise-wide transformations, consistently driving measurable results and fostering a culture of continuous improvement at all levels.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Management, completed by two (2) Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt Certifications from the University of Tennessee and the Office of Air Force Continuous Process Improvement. Additionally, I am certified as a Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt the Department of the Air Force Continuous Improvement and Innovation, equipping me with advanced expertise in driving operational excellence and process optimization.
