Colleen Kelly

I am enrolled in the Temple DOT program starting in June of 2023. I am looking for a job that is relevant to my career path during my gap year before I start school. 

For two summers during my college career, I worked as a camp counselor at Variety Club summer camp. For this job, I worked with young adults ages 16-21 with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. We worked on job-related skills to prepare these individuals for life after graduation from high school. During my junior and senior years of college, I worked as a tutor and academic accountability partner for student-athletes at East Carolina University. During my last semester at college, I completed a recreational therapy internship at SPIN Community and Fitness, where I worked with adults who have intellectual and physical disabilities in a community setting. From September to early December of 2022, I spent three months working as an au pair for a family in Italy. For this job, I helped the family with their two children while also getting to learn about and experience a new culture. 

I graduated in July of 2022 from East Carolina University with a Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy.
