Cole Moore

I am a recent UCSB Biopsychology graduate with hands-on experience in biotech and drug development. At Vascular BioSciences, I designed and tested liposomal drug formulations while building skills in nanoparticle characterization, molecular diagnostics, and regulated lab practices. I thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments where I can contribute to innovative research and continue to grow as a scientist. I am especially passionate about technologies that connect biology and healthcare, including biosensors, molecular diagnostics, and drug delivery systems, because of their potential for real-world impact. My long-term goal is to pursue a PhD, but for now I am eager to apply my skills to meaningful industry research and continue learning from diverse teams of scientists and innovators.

Recent UCSB Biopsychology graduate with hands-on experience in molecular diagnostics, drug delivery, and nanoparticle characterization. As a Drug Design and Development Technician at Vascular BioSciences, contributed to CAR peptide-linked liposome development by executing 100+ formulations, performing advanced analysis (UV-Vis, Nanosight, Zetasizer), and maintaining compliance with GCP and SOP standards. Experienced in independent project ownership, new-hire training, and inventory management in a fast-paced biotech startup. Strong foundation in neuroscience, pharmacology, and biotechnology with proven ability to adapt quickly, analyze complex data, and collaborate in research-driven environments.

Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Completed rigorous coursework in neuroscience, pharmacology, biotechnology, and chemistry, with additional training in experimental design, data analysis, and laboratory methods. Gained hands-on experience at UCSB’s CNSI facility with specialized instruments (NanoSight, Zetasizer) and standard cell culture techniques. Maintained a 4.0 GPA in upper-division neuroscience courses, building a strong foundation for both academic research and applied biotechnology.
