Cody Gray

My name is Cody Gray, and I currently live in Bucksport, Maine.

I have worked for the past 5+ years at The Jackson Laboratory where I have been managing the negotiation and renewals for all of the IT Software and Hardware contracts. The majority of my work is speaking with external vendors, negotiating upcoming rates or prices, and negotiating key contract terms in line with our Legal and Information Security team. Part of my duties are to meet with all of our internal stakeholders bi-weekly and determine upcoming needs, as well as present on the work completed in the previous two weeks.

I am passionate about working with a team that will work to strengthen and challenge each other while providing a positive working environment.

For the past 5 years I have worked at The Jackson Laboratory. I was hired as a Contracts Analyst I in March of 2018, was promoted to Contracts Analyst II in 2019, and my postition was then transferred to the Procurement department in June of 2022.

Prior to that I worked in San Diego, CA as a Preventative Maintenance Technician at MFM Services. I did this job from June 2017 to February 2018. I ended up leaving this position as the company was going out of business and I truly wanted to move back to Maine to be closer to friends and family.

Before that, I had worked consistently through high school and college at the local Hannaford as a Cashier and Service leader from 2011 to 2017 when I graduated college.

My most recent education began in September of 2013 at Maine Maritime Academy in Castine, ME. I earned my B.S. for International Business and Logistics in May of 2017.

Currently, I have been attending The Roux Institute through Northeastern University to earn a Graduate Certificate in Project Management, I am currently set to complete this in December of 2023.
