Cloey Narciso

I’m cloey, I’m 22 years old and I have been in the restaurant industry for the last five years. I learned the trade at a craft cocktail speakeasy called Pangea alchemy lab and since then I have had a passion for mixology. for the last three years I have been a bartender, server and bar lead. 

Kozy Nook, 645 State Road, Westport, MA 02790 -Busser/ Hostess & Dishwasher                                                                      June 2018- February 2020

-As a busser my duties are to clean off tables and take drink orders along with retrieving those drinks, as well as keeping my side of the restaurant clean and stocked at the end of my shifts. 

-As a hostess my duties are to seat customers and answer takeout order calls as well as report them to the kitchen. Along with that I have to keep the hostess station clean and stocked at the end of my shifts. 

-As a dishwasher my duties are to clean all dishes used by cooks and customers using a machine and for certain pans, cleaning by hand. I  am also responsible for prepping certain food items for the cooks to use (Peeling and chopping potatoes, making coleslaw ect.)

Peoples Incorporated Children's Center, 126 Cove Street, Fall River, MA 02720 - Teachers Assistant 

August 2019-March 2020 

-As a teacher's Assistant it was my job to assist the teachers in the room with anything they needed to help with the students. I also played with the students and helped teach them whatever we were learning for the week. I was also in charge of writing daily papers for the students in my group. A basic overview would be a general help to the teachers and students, to help everything run smoothly. 

Ambitrans Ambulance, 4351 Pinnacle Street, Port Charlotte, FL 33980- EMT

-As an EMT it is my job to provide quality  care to all patients during transportation using my BLS skills, operate and maintain the ambulance and make sure it is in working order, have knowledge in charting systems to document the care that I give to my patients and use communication skills to accurately establish a patient's complaints and current well being.

-As a bartender/ server it is my job to make drinks and serve food that the customers would like, in more depth I have to anticipate the customers needs, interact with them to understand what they would like, and come up with the best plans to serve them in a time efficient and friendly manner. As well as the service aspect of the job I have to make sure all service items are ready and prepared for service as well as the work space being clean and up to standard.

-As a bartender it is my job to make drinks and serve food that the customers would like, in more depth I have to anticipate the customers needs, interact with them to understand what they would like, and come up with the best plans to serve them in a time efficient and friendly manner. As well as the service aspect of the job I have to make sure all service items are ready and prepared for service as well as the work space being clean and up to standard. As this bartending job is also part arcade, I also am able to restart games/ help customers with any game issues that are not technician related. I educate customers on different wristband options and try to upsell to the highest tier. I also help host large parties, bringing food and drink and being there for any additional needs. 

-As a bar lead I have additional responsibilities on top of regular service. I am to make sure staff are following company policies and protocols. I train any new employees on all aspects of the bar and arcade. I check the store email every shift, responding to any customer questions. Checking reviews is also a responsibility of mine as well as responding to any negative reviews. On occasion I help take stock of inventory, place liquor orders/ bar supply orders, produce the weekly schedule, run employee sales averages/ store sales. Along with other management at the store I help with updating out standard operating procedures so staff can check off at the end of each shift and update store signage/ hours. I am also responsible for updating the POS with any new menu changes or prices as well as making sure updated menus are printed and placed around the establishment.
