I'm an educator, trainer, and self-published author who’s passionate about storytelling, personal growth, and community impact. Over the years, I’ve worked as a classroom teacher and dean of students, supporting young people through culturally responsive teaching and trauma-informed care. As a trainer, I’ve led workshops focused on leadership, teaching strategies, self publishing and electronic health records. I’ve also self-published multiple books that blend poetry, prose, and real-life reflection—offering honest, creative takes on identity, resilience, and everyday struggles. Whether in schools or on the page, my goal is to amplify voices and build spaces where people feel seen, heard, and inspired.
Experience
I have a diverse background spanning education, mental health, and creative writing. I began my career as a teacher, working closely with students across grade levels and developing a strong foundation in culturally responsive instruction. My work as a dean of students deepened my focus on student wellness, behavior support, and trauma-informed care. I’ve also served as a mental health clinician at Fort Logan, supporting individuals in crisis with empathy and evidence-based practices. Alongside my work in education and mental health, I am a self-published author and trainer, using storytelling, workshops, and creative projects to empower others, spark dialogue, and promote healing through narrative.
